Time for coffee and cake in Hinton

Everyone is invited to have a slice of the cake whilst set in over 17 acres of meadows and mature woodlands rich with nature.

At Hinton Park Woodland Burial Ground and Funeral Directors, we’re holding a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support on Saturday 30 September.

We’re inviting everyone to join the fundraiser which is part of Macmillan’s Coffee Morning – the charity’s biggest fundraising event to support people living with cancer.

In 2022, more than £12 million was raised at coffee mornings across the country and the charity hopes to top that this year.

Elisa Way, Burial Ground Team Leader, said: “We’ll be here from 11am to 1pm with enough cake for everyone. We’re very proud of our small part of Dorset so we’re always delighted to share it with visitors. Thank you for helping us raise money for such a special cause.”

The grounds at Hinton Park Woodland Burial Ground and Funeral Directors are home to a rich variety of wildlife, including deer, rabbits, foxes, kestrels, woodpeckers and songbirds.

There’s a picturesque lake area and a natural pathway between the trees and wildflowers, as well as seated areas throughout the grounds.
